The National Ethics Bureau (NEB) management team includes Steven R McCarty, co-founder and Chairman, and Jeffrey S. Kopitz, co-founder and President.

McCarty is a veteran of the insurance and financial services industry. He entered the business in 1988, working for a southern California insurance agency that advised clients on Medicare supplement and long-term care insurance.

Two years later, he co-founded the Agents Marketing Alliance Corporation (AMAC), where he served as vice president. In that capacity, he helped thousands of insurance agents and investment professionals market their services and assist their clientele more effectively.

At National Ethics Bureau, McCarty manages relationships with approved members, sponsors, industry associations, and the financial media. He is a frequent speaker to the industry on how to leverage best practices for greater professional and personal success. He is also a regular contributor to various industry publications and his monthly column appears in Senior Market Advisor, Boomer Market Advisor, and Benefits Selling.

Kopitz brings decades of business management and marketing expertise to his role as NEB's operations leader. In 1998, he co-founded the Equity Shield Corporation. At Equity Shield, Kopitz served as chief executive officer, deploying his business operations expertise to build a successful insurance sales and service organization.

At NEB, Kopitz is the chief operations and marketing officer. In these capacities, he has designed the firm's Ethics Check System™, created all services provided to advisors and sponsors, maintained the financial integrity of the firm, and developed its strategy for the future.
